RICHARD TAYLOR MP TO SPEAK AT WORCESTERSHIRE NHS RALLY
Independent Health Concern MP, Richard Taylor has confirmed that he will address
a Worcestershire NHS rally to be held at Great Malvern on Saturday 10th March.
The march and rally, organised by West Worcestershire's Liberal Democrat
Parliamentary Candidate, Richard Burt has been called to protest about the loss
of NHS jobs and services in Worcestershire.
Richard Burt said:
"The NHS in Worcestershire is in financial crisis because of constant
reorganisation and mismanagement from Whitehall.
"Health is the number one concern of residents across the county and it's time
to stand up and say enough is enough. You cannot pay for government failures
with health services cuts in Worcestershire."
Dr Richard Taylor MP said:
"It is incredible that with the welcome extra investment into the NHS that it is
still in deficit, and that the immediate economies demanded by government are
leading to staff reductions that will impact on quality of services.
“There are obvious answers that we must push for to save the NHS.”
"The march and rally will start and finish at Priory Park in Great Malvern. We
will move off from the park at around 11.15am, returning in plenty of time for
the rally at 12noon. If you care about your health service, come along and make
your voices heard." added Mr Burt.
Dr Taylor will join Richard Burt at the head of the march through Malvern.
