General Election Results 2005

At the General Election in West Worcestershire on 5th May 2005, 47,077 votes were cast (approximately 70% of the total number of eligible voters) with the following result:

44.5%
 
Conservative: 20,959 votes (-1.5%).
 
39.3%
 
Liberal Democrat: 18,484 votes (+5.3%) just 2,475 votes behind
 
10.5%
 
Labour: 4,945 votes (-3.5%).
 
3.4%
 
UKIP: 1,590 votes (-0.1%).
 
2.3%
 
Green Party: 1,099 votes (-0.2%).
