A bit about Richard Burt ...

Grammar school educated, Richard went on to gain degrees in Education and Arts from Birmingham University and the Open University.

Richard has lived and worked for over thirty years in the West Midlands in journalism, public service, education, business and the community putting him directly in touch with so many aspects of local peoples' lives.
 

Richard is a family man: he understands the demands of modern day living in town and country. He has the experience to give help and support when it is most needed.

Richard is a natural leader who listens to people's concerns and knows how to get things done.

Richard is passionate about protecting the environment and the future of our schools, NHS and policing in Worcestershire.

Richard has recently campaigned against Conservative education cuts and school closures. He led a Worcestershire wide NHS rally and has campaigned against the closure of our 999 emergency ambulance control, Pershore Care Centre and local post offices.

Richard is a former marathon and fell running champion who now likes to watch rugby in his spare time!
