A bit about Richard Burt …

Grammar school educated, Richard went on to gain degrees in Education and Arts from Birmingham University and The Open University.

Richard has lived and worked for over thirty years in the West Midlands in journalism, public service, education, business and the community putting him directly in touch with so many aspects of local peoples’ lives.

Richard is a family man: he understands the demands of modern day living in town and country. He has the experience to give help and support when it is most needed.

Richard is a natural leader who knows how to get things done.

Richard is passionate about protecting the environment and the future of our schools, NHS and policing in Worcestershire.

Richard recently campaigned against Conservative plans to close outdoor education centres and led a Worcestershire wide NHS rally in Malvern.

Richard is a former marathon and fell running champion who now likes to watch live rugby in his spare time!
